Took a quick half hour tour around this local lake this morning to see what might be around. I trolled with a wedding ring and worm as I can usually see really quickly what wants to come in the boat. I was hoping the perch might be worthwhile so I can take the kids on a good perch trip. Caught two real nice ones about five minutes in. kept going around the lake and caught two small bass. 2-3 inches (silly things the lure is that big). Then another small perch and had to get home to do chores. I'll be back for a serious trip asap.
