The kokanee in Wilderness are wierd. They don't start biting until 0730-0800 and it gets better by noon! On the water at 0630 and tried to avoid the RBs. Water temp 66 degrees, cloudy and calm all morning. Kokanee came from 17' to 22' (the lake is 32' max). It was pretty much steady bites all morning and didn't even have to change lures. Modified pink squiddy with garlic shoepeg and maggots. Managed to wear out three kokes (2-11", 1-13") and slide them into the net. The other two RB I had to keep (bleeding).

I had the lake to myself, except for a raft for an hour. They caught the little surface jumpers and left. Just bought the dodger and used it today. Great action on a slow troll.

PS: The WA Lakes flag pic was taken at American, the background gives it away.

Correction: the kokes were 2-11", 1-10". The RB was 13".

LOL I was looking at that. Those are interesting dodger and blade. That lake sounds like a great place for late risers.

Stopped at Sportco after American on Wednesday and saw them. The glow squid has a double-sided glow coat and my grand-daughter's nail polish markings. Added a clear faceted glass bead for the spinner to run on. Just made it yesterday and it killed them today. The sickle hooks are really working.
