Got on the lake shortly after 5:30am Saturday morning, caught 4 fish, carefully released 2 at about 10", kept one at 13" and one at 14.5". The 2 10" and the 13.5" were caught on leaded line with 4 full colors in the water, after seeing some of rsea's hand tied stuff he has posted, I had an idea. I went to Cabelas and baught a fairly large pink and orange fly with a trailing hook, I placed a bead and a Smiley blade in front, and tipped the hook with corn, all 3 of these fish were caught on this set up. The 14.5" was caught on the downrigger at 80' using a chartreuse smiley balde double wammy and a chartreuse sling blade. Called it quits arounf 9:30; just enough fish for Kokanee ceasar salad Sunday, and salmon patties tonight.
