Had to end up a long week of fishing on a good note so the wife and I headed up to Loon for an afternoon of some bassin, and were not dissapointed! We ended up boating 8 fish in a couple of hrs with our 2 best in the pics, both close to 4lbs. Used pumpkin seed Zoom trick worm and a black & blue jig n craw. What a great week, spent last Friday out with Bluegrouse Bill on Long lake and boated too many smallies we lost count, unfortunately nothing was over 2 1/2 lbs. Darn wind! Time for a break to give my thumb & elbow a rest... Happy Fishing everyone!

I forgot to mention that I had a Mack nail one of my plastics along the northeast weed line out past the reeds in about 25-30 feet of water, had him on for a small fight but he didn't have the hook, just the worm in it's mouth, so he let go as soon as he saw my boat. He was about 3-4 lbs, about the same size as the one I caught up on the PO river last fall. Next time out I may rig up one of my Tiger trout lures with a worm trailer and try to catch one, more to come...
