I have been fishing these Island County lakes for years. My Uncle and my daughter went fishing on East side of the lake. It was the first time I had been back to Deception Pass in several years (Military) Stopped the trucks and started fishing. We were armed with poles and Berkely Power Eggs. (Pink) In no less than 30 seconds we had our first fish. The hits happened continually after that. This was later in the evening and we were about to loose daylight but not before we had a nice stringer of 10 Rainbows. These were definitely this years "Stockers" all ranged from between 8-12 inches. Would have been nice to nail a "hold-over" but it was a hell of a lot of fun anyway. I have always liked these lakes in the Deception Pass Area. Happy Fishing!
