Boy was it tuff to be on the lake all day and come up with a goose egg. The only action I saw was toward the end of the boat ride decided to throw a deep diving crackbait. Approximately 10 feet from the boat a grey flash crossed in front of my line an nailed the lure. I was so surprised to see life that I jumped the gun and tried to set the hook without giving the fish a chance to fully inhale the bait and there went my only chance at catching anythng. Oh well, I guess I cant win every day.

Don't feel bad. A fishing buddy who is a very good bass fisherman fished Kapowsin a few days ago and only caught one rockbass. Kapowsin can be a tough lake.
