The Slaughter Continues!!!

I slept in again, despite my alarm going off twice before 0500, and didn't arrive at Riffe (the fishing bridge) until 1010. At 1025 I was walking out with my limit of coho.

It's the same story; 1/4 oz weight, 2'-3' leader, salad shrimp on a #6 hook. The fish are biting pretty light, but they're everywhere. They seem to be up a bit higher in the water column, so when you drop it off the bridge I don't let out too much line. I've even had a few bit right at the surface when I real in to check bait, along with a bunch chasing my bare hook when my bait gets stolen.

Is that raw shrimp or cooked? Thanks for the report

cooked shrimp, the "oregon shrimp meat" you get from QFC or safeway. I see others using larger cooked shrimp though, and even worms

Nope, not really. I've caught 2 in the last week that had a couple, but the rest are worm free

Sounds like your slip bobber has been retired, for now?

FYI, I caught some at the dam on the 18th. They did not have worms in the gut either.
