@ smallieslayer, the population of smallmouth in lake washington is plenty healthy enough for fish to be taken on a regular basis....not that i do, but it actually would be a good thing. This is why there is a size/quantity limit set forth by the state. It promotes selective harvest, thus increasing chances for bigger/healthier age classes. Also, Coulon is no secret to anyone. On any given day i bet you arent the first or the last guy that fishes "your" spot. LOL.

@ smallieslayer - you don't have a spot. no part of any lake belongs to anybody. it's there for everybody to fish. whether or not people take fish is really none of your business. while i personally promote catch and release (especially for bigger fish) it's actually better for the population for people to take fish out. with too high of a population of fish comes more competition for food which results in the fish's growth being stunted. the state limits and regulations are there for a reason. a person could take home their legal limit of bass every single day and i guarantee you wouldn't even notice.

Think dudes line was more to try to be funny, then to actually say he ows the place, Someone fishes several spots here and there, takes a buddy fishing, then tells him " let me take you to my spot" saying the word mine, took the message the wrong way. Maybe maybe not. I def been wrong before. ) Anyways there is some nice big bronzebacks that can't resist a certain plastics there.

Very nice catch silverbaws!
