I went to my local kokanee lake for some pre-work fishing. I brought in 2 kokanee in the boat with many more misses. I am not use to misses. The hooks I use usually hold ‘em good but not today. I found them at about 44 feet no matter what depth the lake was (over 50 feet). They only liked pink today. I think I only had 2 hits on the Bahama Mamma dodger with different colored lures, even if it was at the same depth as the Dick Nite Pink Splatter dodger with Wannafish A Lure’s Pink Splatterback lure. The weather was overcast with hardly any breeze. The prediction for the next day’s weather was awesome. I fished from around 6:30am to 9:30am. “A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.” But it is really awesome when you can have both!!

Nice kokes, Toni. I took your advice and re-tied my lures with sickle hooks. They really hold better than the octopus hooks - thanks.
