Took the kiddos to try a little shore fishing. Tried bobber and worms. No luck. Then tried bottom fishing with all types of powerbait. Nothing. Didn't see anyone from the shore, dock or any boat land anything. Was there from 6am to 8am. Just one of those days.

In my experience, the early morning bite sucks at Meridian.

My experirience in fishing is you have to put in the time try different colors and leader lengths for trout. The most important factor is patience. Some days you can catch a limit in 1 hour next day it takes longer.
