It was a great day for me with a personal best Walleye of 7LBS.- 12OZ. 28 inches!!! But, my partner went fishless. He did not even get a bite. That is why the low rating. Others on the water were getting a few & some were fishless. The wind would come and go making boat control difficult. I picked up 3 walleye, 1 dorsal fin hooked carp & a catfish. Picked up a nice 20'' Walleye early on followed by a hellish battle with a dorsal fin hooked 5lb Carp. After awhile changed spots & dropped in on a second Walleye upon arrival! Tried multiple depths and colors to no avail after that. Returned to same general area across from Airmans beach & soon hooked up with the big one. Only this time Jerry wouldn't take the boat out of gear just for another carp. Wow were we surprized! All three walleye were on different colors. Perch, Bluegill And motor oil bottom walkers picked up the fish. I got the SKUNK off of 2 poles but Jerry never got anything other than bottom multiple times. I also tried cranks to no avail.
