This lake use to have bass in it. What happened? Did they poison them out? Sure has plenty of trout. You have to try real hard not to hook a trout. The trout are fun to catch but generally they are all the same size and it gets boring hooking one right after another. I would love to be able to pull a nice size bass out from under a dock like in years past.

desire is actually spring fed so the water stays colder unless it stays warm for a long period of time. with this funky weather we've been having, the bass haven't been wanting to come out and play.

There is Bass in Desire. Have to work for them in Desire though. I'm going to give it a try Saturday, early morning.

I generally stick to heavy cover. I do pretty well doing so.

They spray the lake to get rid of the lily pads and this has negatively impacted the trout stocks
