With the Skagit River mostly blown out, I hit Lake Samish about 6:45 for a little Kokanee action. I got there just ahead of the rush and found a friend hanging out at the ramp hoping to score a seat in someones' boat, so he was glad to see me show up. Going off RSEAS report yesterday, I sent a green wiggle hoochie (with glo stick) straight down to 42 feet, and then ran a wedding ring on an unweighted long line, just to cover the bases. The first hour probably rated a "5", as I had 4 fish in the boat, 2 on the surface line, and 2 on the DR. After the sun began to peak out, everything came from between 32 and 42 feet on the green hoochies. I had 5 in the box by 8:30, but it took until 11 to get my fishin buddy up to 4. All in all, we were 9 for 10, and a relaxing morning on the water.

Was one of the two rods fishing, your buddies? Or was there a third rod out and if so what was tied onto that rod. Of course, I am assuming a two rod endorsement applies here.

These fish were just slightly smaller than last month. they were between 12 and 15 inches.
My buddy was also running a green hoochie, but a different dodger.......that was the difference.
