I met up with a buddy in Morton about 0545 and headed to Tad Park to fish at the fishing bridge. I'd never fished this spot before so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect.
We got there right as the gate was opening and headed on in. There were already a few people there and they were catching fish, so I figured "All Right!!!" I rigged up with a small shrimp and a 1/4 oz slip sinker and dropped it down from the bridge. Within a minute I had my first fish on and upto the bridge. I was wishing I had brought a little stouter rod with me for hoisting, but it was fun. I finished off my limit of coho in about a half hour and waited another hour for my buddy to finish off his (that last fish is always the hardest).
When we left at 0800 fish were still being caught consistently, but not nearly as fast as it was early. Good times had by all and some real nice people fishing the bridge.
