Spent the afternoon looking for bass. Its been a slow year for me and LMB, so I hit up St. Clair because I'm familiar with the lake. Game plan was to pitch plastics at docks and timber due to not getting out until late in the day. Used 5-inch Zoom grub texas rigged with 1/8 oz sinker and 1/0 Gamikatsu wide-gap off-set worm hook. Caught over a dozen bass, most small in the 7 to 10 inch range. Caught a couple that were around 12 to 14 inches and one larger fish that weighed 3.0 on the berkley scale. All bites were very hard and aggressive.
