I caught the first fish, a trout, that I released. Then Mike got the next, a 15.5 inch kokanee. Then we waited a long time. Nate was long lining 2 rods that he had hits on but didn’t hook. My kokanee came on a Pink Ice hooked to a Pink Splatter Dick Nite Dodger with corn soaked in Dick Nite DNA Kokanee scent. It was about noon. A little later Mike hooked another kokanee but lost it at the boat. As we were putting things away Mike left his rod out and hooked a trout. Mike had the hot rod this day! The only other boat we saw catch fish was rseas. There were probably less than a dozen boats fishing for kokanee. We fished for about 8 hours, 5am-1pm. We changed lures, dodgers, bait, scent, and colors. No one thing was the magic combo.

The weather ranged from nice to windy and a shower that could be called a soaking down pour.
