First time out on Long Lake. Decided to cruise the lake and beat the bank for bass. Tons of flats with lots of milfoil and pads, so it looks really bassy. Not a single bite. Threw buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, lipless cranks, tubes and wacky rigged senkos. Caught lots of rock bass, that's about it. Fished from 6AM to noon, got tired of it so we anchored a couple hundred yards from the boat launch ramp and caught a dozen 10 to 13 inch rainbows with a jig.
