Arrived at wilderness around 0900. Started fishing with my 4/0 dodger and silver wedding ring tipped with shoepeg corn and pink fire corn in around 20' of water straight out from the launch. While I was messing with my downrigger (the line counter wasn't working) the lure pops out of the clip on the surface. I figured it was just from me playing with it, but then my rod starts bouncing... missed that one. Finally get my gear down to the 9' mark and started pouring a cup of coffee, fish pulls the line from the downrigger... miss that one. After that, things slowed way down. I messed around with different depths and colors before finally settling in at 12' with my original setup. That got me 3 bows and 1 kok before I left at 1400.

Same store as everyday it seems, I should have been there a little earlier to get in on the bite.

With all the catching you have been doing. Your having some really good fishing trips. Your 2 rating is deceiving, did not expect that would have equated to a 4 fish day, and several hits on top of that.
