Got out on the lake at 6:30...wind was dead calm and the water temp was 61 degrees. Had never fished the lake so took a quick tour with the fish finder to capture depth and fish location. Did not find to many fish but by 7:15 had the first of 8 on deck. Found most fish along eastern shore where the sun cast long shadows on the water. By 11:00 the shadows were gone, the wind came up a little and the fishing really slowed down so we packed it in. Excellent day out with good fishin and the company of my son.
