Fishing on Lake Chelan has been moderate with mostly typical sized lakers (2 to 6 pounds) coming off the bottom in depths of 120' to 250'. This is still pretty good fishing by anyone's standards!
Rufus Woods continues to pump out triploided rainbows and kokanee for the persistent trollers and bank anglers. We expect conditions to improve as the effect of the pineapple express recedes.
I've been watching Roses Lake like a hawk, but as of today it still has a rotten ice cap. Not enough open water to fish, and not enough ice to get out on. When it thaws, it should be dynamite for holdover rainbows.
