My wife and I took Super Hero and the Hockey Star to the kid’s derby. There was quite a crowd there for the annual juvenile fishing fest on the north end lake. The photo was taken after they both limited out in an hour and 20 minutes. Roughly half of their fish were in the 12 plus fat inches range. Many hogs were being landed that day with some well over 5 lbs. each. What a great spot for kids to learn the basics and get the fire and desire for such a fun sport. Many thanks to the organizations that sponsored this event with such awesome enthusiasm and generosity.
