Fished Potholes for the first time Friday and Saturday. Launched from Potholes State Park and explored the shoreline areas and backwaters with my boat. Ended up landing one smallmouth on a drop shot setup. Saw lots of bass boats on the reservoir and noticed a bass tournament was in progress on Saturday. Hope to come back soon and learn more about Potholes bass fishing. I hear Banks Lake is another excellent destination for smallies.
