Fished American yesterday for Koke's but had no success. Got a little bit of a late start and didn't get fishing until around 8am. I saw one kokanee landed all day with our boat going 0 for 1. Fished until around noon. Marked most fish between 25-40ft with the surface temps being in the 60 degree range. Used everything from wedding ring tipped with worm to hootchies w/ maggot to Apex w/ corn. Used dodgers, no dodger, far back, close to the boat, changed speeds, did zig-zags (when I could find room), and just couldn't get them to respond. Oh well, better luck next time.

I fish American atleast 3 days a week usually more and a couple things that will help your success is the bite is almost over at 8AM. from sunrise till about 8 is a good bite. Next all the fish I have caught have been below 50 ft and I dont trust the fish finder at all because I have been marking fish in the same area as you with no luck but I go deeper where I am not marking fish and it gets good. Next I have never caught a Koke using worms I only pick up trout with those. Also I have tried the apex many times with corn and maggots and only gotten trout. I hope this info is very helpful to you and you dont think I am being rude. If you ever want some more info feel free to private message me.

It was tough fishing on Saturday. Got to the WDFW launch at 0450 and was the 15th boat in line waiting for the gate to open and the 15th boat to launch. Crazy! Fishing was very slow! Got out at 0520, got two kokes before 0700 and nothing else the rest of the day. 2 for 2 down deep.
