Decent day, sun was shining, but it was a bit gusty at times. Made it tough to troll at times. Fished for about 4 hours, limited out but fishing was very slow at times. Got a decent trout, just shy of 13". Best part was what was attached to that trout. A MONSTER large mouth was trying to eat my trout. The bass had half my trout stuffed in its mouth and wouldn't let go. The thing had to be easily twice the size of the trout. He Hung out next to the boat, trout still in mouth, but ran once I dipped my net. I'm not one to tell "fish stories" but this was easily the biggest bass I've ever seen. At least 24" long and 5+lbs. I didnt even think that largemouth could get this big. I was shocked. It was right next to that big fallen tree on the (southeast) public dock side. I challenge everyone to try to catch this fatty and please...take pics and measurements and post them here. I would be willing to bet that my estimates are on the conservative side.

Yeah, I wanted somebody else to see it. Very rarely does my heart jump when I'm fishing, but this was one of those times. Some one had to know what I had just seen. I wish I had my bass gear. Always gonna bring with now in hopes of catching that bad boy. Again, open invitation, please catch him and post pics/size. Maybe try a rapala? It really wanted my trout, all distressed on my line. Decent size trout so decent size rapala or flat fish. Keep me posted.
