Nice day a little breezy winds coming from SE 15-20mph ; started at 3:00pm fishing from shore using Pink & Yellow Gulp Eggs. I use a 4ft leaders & 1/2 oz egg sinker was sitting on right side of boat ramp area casting straight out 20 - 30 yards.
First fish healthy 13.5 inch shaped like a bullet round, long cylinder but what a fighter. These fish put up a fight, jumping, taking line great fish on lite action rod. First fish was caught at 4:10pm had to wait a little till wind calmed down. Then every cast after that fish on within 10 minutes. Best part of the trip their wasn't another soul on the lake.
