YES, finally got the monkey off my back. Landed 3 SMB today, missed a couple. 1st one was a little over 2lbs @ 16". 2nd one was pound and a quarter or so @ ~14". My last landed one was 2lb 12oz. Biggest for the year so far, lol :(.

Fish were caught in relatively shallow water and found a few on points. Water temp was ranging from 63-65 degrees. My neck is burnt!

Also I kept spotting these schools of fish. The water was too stained for me to get a clear look at them. I thought they were trout. They kept nipping on my bass gear, so I busted out my trout rod. 2nd cast and I landed this thing. What is it?

Alright F'nfool, glad to see you stuck to it on the big lake, and found success. This is such a great time of year for bassin'. All the reports are lighting up each week.

that is a peamouth chub indeed! they look similar to a squawfish but have a much smaller mouth and the fins are just slightly different. congrats on landing 3 smallies!
