So me and a buddy decide to take my 10ft Jon out on the lake and see if any bass have come out of hibernation to get some sun rays but that wasnt the case . I notice bluegill are starting to appear in shallow water again so that only means the bass are close behind . Just for kicks I threw in a few different rooster tails and got some massive hits from a few trouts but landed none . The bass are also very finicky and got scared by most lures and baits that I threw in . Overall it was a great few hours on the lake and I'm just counting down the days until the bass truly start biting and eating
