The weather couldn't be better and the occasional wind was never very strong. Everyone we spoke to said it was slow fishing, and that was our experience. Trolling with wedding rings and a worm got us 3 stockers in 60-90 minutes. Still fishing at the west end in the early afternoon saw a fair number surfacing but they wouldn't take anything we offered, and that was about everything we had - top down, bottom up, lures, a frog, and a fly with a leader and bobber. Back to trolling and one stocker. Then still fishing the east end, again with everything we had. Except for a little more wind and no fish surfacing, the results were the same. Next we tried several spots along the north shore, with a float or on the bottom, with no results. Around 6 pm we made it to the NW corner, and 2-3 Power Eggs with a small ball of Power Bait did the trick. Stockers hit every 5-10 minutes. We each limited, with my partner catching a nice 15 inch rainbow!

So, no luck with bass or rumored perch, but the trout are catchable. Great day!
