Having no luck with the bass so far this year. Used spinnerbait, jigs, senkos and got nothing. Saw one fish that appeared to be preparing a spawning bed, and i threw right over the top of him and drug my lure right in front of his nose and he had no interest. Switched rods and dropped a wedding ring tipped with a berkley power worm and trolled for about an hour and brought home two 12" trout. Wasnt a total bust, but would sure like to land a lunker some time soon.

On Sunday or Monday u should hit up the lake and I bet u will get some signs of life . Kapowsin is so up and down with bass some people don't even think there is bass in there anymore that are not "Dinks" . My neighbors own like half of graham and most the old markets in that area and they have told stories of how great that lake USED to be compared to now . A real shame . Maybe I'll see you out there brotha ! Lines tight

The lake is very on, or off, but the lunkers are still there. They just have a lot of structure, and can afford to be picky.
