Wanted to go to Alder today, but Uncle Sam didn't deposit my SS early enough to get gas. So, off to Wilderness where I heard there were kokanee planted last year and this year according to a lake resident. Anyway, everything happened today: sunny, calm, windy, cloudy, rain at some time during the day. Used a dodger and modified Shasta lures given to me to at the Puyallup Boat Show to test. It was basically a red/orange hoockie style that I added a spinner and glow beads. Humminbird showed two groups, 12'-15' and 19'-23, so I put a planer (Pink Lady) at 12' and another at 18'. It was non-stop from 0900 to 1500 and then slowed way down. The kokanee measured exactly 14 1/2" (that's probably a "fisherman's" 15") and the three rainbows that I kept were 12". Water temp stayed right around 59 degrees.
