I had a little time before I had to work on the garden, so I decided to hit up Lake Walker again this morning. I arrived at 0745 to cloudy skies and occasional drizzle. I used my usual set up of half a crawler and gulp corn about 4.5' under a bobber from the boat launch and started getting hit right away. An hour later I was on my way home with my limit. I also lost 2 and missed about a dozen bites. They were running a little small today.

Let me guess, before looking at the methods used. Some sort of bait on a bobber? The Riffe lake bobber. I see at top worms and a bobber, but what was yellows, corn? Nice work, using the bobber. Based on that, I guess the fish are still shallow.

yep, the corn was yellow. Seems like they're still shallow, but people are getting them bottom fishing powerbait also
