I've been having continued success at Walker, and Sunday was no different. Since I'm doing well from shore I haven't even bothered to take the boat out yet, but boat anglers are doing even better than shore anglers.

I arrived around 1500 to sunny skies and cast out my normal worm and corn 4.5' under a bobber. I got bit right away. Within 20 min I had 2 on the stringer, 2 lost, and about 5 missed bites. Things slowed down considerably after that and it took another hour and a half to finish my limit.

Bottom fishing is definitely effective out here, I just chose not to do it because of all the snags out from the fishing area. No matter how you fish though, get a kid out here, they fish are biting and they'll enjoy it.

I think that bobber isn't coming off, until it breaks off! :O)
