Had a great time with my son on Saturday at Lake 12. The fish weren't picky..Gold Flat fish, Gree Gamakatsu flat blade spinner with pink power egg, home made stuff, even a 2.5" jerk bait.. All dragged behind the canoe with small amount of weight. A couple of double hook ups and the fish are real nice size. We had our limit pretty quick! I also tried for bass while the boy explored a beaver dam, but no bites dispite the fact that a home owner came out and told me right were to fish in front of his home. :) All in all a great time..... The weeds arent too bad yet. Another boat came and went with a trolling motor just fine.
