Man what a day! I hooked up with My awesome buddy Roger Mineard aka Pacbassman fro Wa lakes and had another unbelievable day of Crappie and bass fishing in the Columbia Basin. We got out early this morning to give Evergreen a try, but for some reason we couldn't locate any crappie or Bass. So we took a jaunt down the road to Stan Coffin, the catch and release bass lake, hoping to put the my New "Crappie Midget" Nymph to the test. We tried the west end of the lake in the shallows and caught a few smaller Bass on Smoke/pepper Stone Dragun jigs. The basalt cliffs made the shade a little cooler than usual in the shadows along the tules but that is where we found the fish! I caught a decentcrappie on a Stone dragun jig, but when Roger tossed out 2" smoke/chartruseCrappie Midget jig, the fishing went from slow to on fire! We caught over 40 Bass and 8 big crappie tossing these jigs in crooks and crannies along the upper section of the Lake. We will be downloading our amazing bass and crappie photos here on walakes soon. Polorized glasses were key today, as finding the crappie holding high in the water column and in the shade was key. The bass wouldn't leave Roger's Crappie Midget jig alone and we took a ton of pictures this trip. We also picked up a lone big sunfish to boot. I had to share this with you guys: Yesterday, None other than Doug Stange from In Fisherman Magazine contacted me on Facebook...I was in total shock, as Mr. Stange is interested in trying out my Jigs and said He may feature them in a future article in In Fishermen and put them on the New products page! I had to do a double take and photograph my computer screen with what he wrote to me. What an honor my bothers! I will soon be sending some of my jigs to his personal address in Baxter, Minnesota,( near Brainerd, MN.) Thank you Roger for all your help in the Field testing and developement stage of GerMin Custom Lures! Tight lines guys. Your brother Jiggy.

If Stange features your baits on his show, you had better have your ducks in a row. My guess is you need to find out how to ramp up your production to fill large amounts of orders. Fishnfool might be able to pass on some info. I believe he has a company that now pours his baits for him in large qualtities. I would contact him personally to be sure. I will be in touch. I would love to try these baits.

Nice going

Where is you web page or facebook page to buy these jigs? I would like to buy a damsel fly type bait and it seems like you mentioned that here somewhere.

Hello bullpine. We can be contacted about jigs and any other info about our lures at Germin Custom Lures on Facebook. It was a truly magical day at Stan Coffin with Jiggy. Although I'm told I'm a pretty good crappie fisherman, it took a WHILE for me to key on them through what seemed to be an endless supply of largemouth. Bass ranging from 6 inches to 4 pounds all over the lake! Great trip as usual. pacbassman
