Fished McMurray for the opening. Fishing was fairly slow, C&R about 7 fish, but nearly as good as years past. A little disappointed with these "larger" fish, I actually liked the old mix of catchables and "premium" fish in the 12"-14" range they use to stock. However, a nice day in the float tube.

Ditto to that!! I also mentioned the issue re: size, but still enjoyed my time out on the water.

Thanks for the great report. I dont think Mcmurray was stocked with the larger fish. If you look at the Plant report they are saying 2.4 and 1.95 fish per pound.
