Fished Upper Goose Lake, started out fishing for Walleye with bottem bouncer and worm harness. When my wife picked up a 15" trout I put out two more rods with rooster tails with trebble hooks and a little piece of worm. They got a lots of hits with no hookups. Changed the first rods to wedding rings with double hooks and worms. Started putting fish in the boat with that. Changed all rods to wedding rings, red did best but pink and silver got fish too. Trolled at .8 to 1.2 mph. Ending up with 5 each.

But where are those Walleye?? I took a trip early this spring, only caught trout - but really was hoping for something bigger. Glad you didn't go home empty handed though!

No one seemed to be getting any walleye. I don't know if it was the weather or post spawn, but I hope to go back in a few weeks and try again.
We started out down the south side when we cut across the lake where I have the hot spot marked is when my wife got the first trout. We went up the lake to the other hot spot and back. Most were from the south west hot spot.
