Fishing buddies Steve Miller, Rick Barresi, Jeremy Murphy and Justin Kimball came out to fish with me. We began up at the Yacht Club. I got the first downrigger rod to the bottom, and got my set back for the first outrigger rod. As I was getting ready to send it down, the T4 Flatfish got bit! A 22" Rainbow tried to go in orbit, but Rick got him to the boat. What a beautiful bonus fish! While we were setting up to take a picture, the one downrigger rod that was down got bit. It turned into a very nice 9 pound laker. Two more quality lakers on that pass made a nice start. It slowed down after that, we moved a few times and ended with a nice pile of fish. What a beautiful spring day on Chelan! Mack's Cha Cha Squidder got bit best. Worden's T4 GPLX flatfish got the bigger fish. Speeding up to 1.6 mph was productive near the Yacht Club early in the morning. Got my nose sunburned for the first time this year...
