This week has been some of the best crappie fishing in years for me. All told I believe that I a closing in on near some 400 crappie caught in the I 82 ponds since last Monday! Today, the action was fast and furious for bass, bluegill, trout and my favorite fish of all- Crappie! I am developing and molding a new line of panfish micros jigs, all the baits are patterned on actual aquatic nymphs and larvae based on what I have found in the stomachs of the fish I have kept. I molded a wingless Dragun fly Nymph in smoke pepper last night at my house and my first cast today with it I popped a 3 pound Largemouth! I couldn't be happier that these lures are catching so many fish, as I know I caught a least 150 panfish today on them. Fishin Christian caught several springer salmon on my Stone Dragun jigs so i am stoked to try my larger nymphs on stelhead! For those of you looking for micro specialty jigs for panfish I plan to have my own line of 1/64th and 1/80th oz. jigs ready soon. Tight lines brothers.
