Got to the public boat launch at 2:30 p.m.-water temp 55 to 59 degrees--water clarity 3 ft depth--Wind slight breeze with gusts -- Air temp 60 degrees partly sunny skies with clouds passing through--Depth most fish found 4 to 5 Ft.--Most productive lure Jig and pork chunk--Found fish under and around sunken isolated logs in 5 to 4 Ft. depths--Had 2 short strikes which took the lure when lifting lure out of water When flipping to next spot on log structure. Put smaller jig and pork on for a smaller presentation and hooked into a 6Lb Largemouth. Fish were present on points with brush and deeper sunken logs in about 4 to 5 ft. depths. Looks like the females are starting to move into the warmer water on structure feeding for the spawn. Found the warmer water at the windy end of the lake. Fish was releashed to be caught again.
