The Quadfather

Wow what a day. Limited in an hour and a half. a few folks fishing, but really not many. Most of the trout were planter trips 12-13, 4 were hawg trips, and a few minnows. The action was as good as the weather. Might be a good warm up for the general opener. Gas in Omak on the back street was 3.94 gal. On the way from Coulee City I showed my wife the baby cows at the ranches along the way. I see it daily, she not all. Near the junction we pulled off and a rancher stopped his work and came over to us on the the hiway. I explained my wife was a calf lover and he invited us in so my wife could pet the calfs! Man I made points that day! I invited both ranchers to call me any time and we would go fishin they were grateful and so were we. Sometimes it not just about the fishin.
