The Bass did not want topwater lures at any time of the day. They did take spinnerbaits for awhile. The Crappie were not to be found by my party, but the perch are starting to show. We fished the edge of the pads with a piece of worm about 4 to 6 feet down on a pencil bobber. With the bobber rig, we caught small bass, punkinseeds, trout sized perch, and of course trout. All in all, not a bad morning of fishing.
Remember to take and drink at least a quart of water every hour during this heat spell. It can save your life!
