Spent 10am to 4pm fishing Caliche from my canoe. Did two laps trolling a orange and gold wedding ring, with only one strike. Saw some trout were surfacing so tried my hand at some flyfishing with zero bites. Trolled some flies also with no takers. Finally drifted while casting a Kastmaster and landed on 14incher. Did the above all again with zero more fish. Called it a day and headed home. Seems Caliche is slowing down now.
