Vic and John from the Lake Washington Puget Sound Anglers came out with me to Mack fish. We had a great time in spite of a wet and cold day here in the Chelan Valley. At least the wind didn't blow. We eliminated a lot of unproductive water and pounde depths in the upper trench from 185 to 214 feet deep. Silver Horde's Kingfisher Lite spoons in Chartreuse Double Splatterback glow produced early, the Ace Hi's worked in the middle part of the day and Mack's Lures Cha Cha Squid rigs in Green Glow produced late. Speeds that triggered fish were very specific. 1.3 to 1.4 mph was the trigger. Loads of idle resumes also got the fish to bite. What a great day with some terrific fishermen!
