Went out to Gene Coulon today to catch some trout, caught 4 bows all about ~8inches, and I caught a red horse sucker that I gave to my friend. It was pushing 4lbs and when I cleaned it for him, I found 3 sacks of eggs and she was ready to spawn! Put up an "ok" fight, when I first set the hook it shook a lot making me think it was a big bow, until i reeled it in closer. I used worms and a split shot, just let it sink to the bottom, dragged and jigged it in

Sorry but it's not safe to eat any bottom eater in Lake Washington.I've lived here for 55 yrs and know the shallow bottom of this Lake..This also includes Crawfish or the fish that eat them..
