I had about 1 1/2 hours of light after work Monday. I headed out to Clear Lk. and was in the water at 6:30 p.m. That gave me about 1 hour (or so) of usable light. I tried Buggers, nymphs, nothing... I saw some rises starting and there were some bugs flying around with what I think might be egg sacks hanging down under the abdomen? Anyway, I tied on an Adams Irresistible and cast it to a rise not more than 20 feet away. SLURP! A nice 17" Brown took it and provided some evening fun! Just as it got too dark to fish much anymore, the water all around me started moving with a good number of nice sized fish taking those flies. Oh well, I was headed in. Tonight it will cool even more, fishing should really pick up the last weeks of the season!
Good Luck to All!
