Have been trying to get an ice trip into the basin but the weather just has not been cooperative for safe enough ice, so my friend Tom and I headed to Leland and put the steel to the trout. We were hoping for some Crappie or Perch, but they were nowhere to be found, the trout just could not leave Dons Dandy Crappie jigs alone, they really do slam them. One plus was I got to test out my new drift socks. :) Klahowya!
