Figured I'd been striking out on the rivers so much in the last two months, might as well pull the boat out. Hit the lake about 8am, surface temp 45F and very little wind. Had a fairly steady perch bite all day and managed one smallie out of 55-60 foot of water on a dropshot (gulp minnow in pearl). My first December bass so I left the lake a happy man. Lost a few other fish that may have been smallmouth, I'll never know. Good to have the boat out again and not a bad day in the chilly weather. Tight lines everyone!
