Caught a 6 lb. bass on a vertical log in about 5 ft of water. Tried using whitish spinnerbaits earlier in the day with a few success. They were not readily chasing anything so I switched to plastic worms and pitched to solitary logs.

I grew up a half mile from Kapowsin, cut my teeth fishing bass there. Used to know the location of every stump and log. But since they logged its bottom, I bounce around like a steel ball in an binball machine. But Kapowsin does have its hawgs. Thank you for the report.
