Was out on Lake Chelan, again, yesterday. Took an old school buddy out, who hasn't been bass fishing in years. Started out about 8:30 a.m. Went to my old haunt Abbots Point. No takers until we got down the shore aways. My buddy put the first fish in the boat, about 1.5 #'s.
The wind came up and was just a little too much so we moved over to the south side. That is where we really caught on fire. Fish were still in about 25-30 ft max. Water temps are holding @56 degrees by mid a.m & the rest of the day. The bait that was the killer was, once again, the 4" MAD BASS Turbo tube in Old Ugly, W/M RED, Road Kill and Grn Pmkin. The bite was a pressure bite and you had to be on your toes to hook up. Fish size avged 2-2.5#'s. My bud caught 12 and I got 17. A good day in all. Took some pics but can't get to down load on my computer. Will post at a later date. As I noted on my last post, with the temps holding these fish will keep feeding and stay shallow..
