Went to Coulon today and had a fun day despite the rain today. Caught a lot of variety of fish. Including a cutthroat trout, carp, and some sockeye!!! The Sockeye we hooked on a rattle trap and the suprising thing was it bit the lure!!! They were all released unharmed. The Carp was released unharmed too, we caught it on corn. The cutt my friend kept. It was long but very skinny. Also caught some crawfish too. Big ones!!

Wow, you hit the smorgasbord of variety. Very nice looking carp, and your crayfish is quite large too. I assume your were using crayfish traps.... what type of bait, and how many did you catch. dropped them right off the dock??

The cray fish size averaged around 4.5-5 inches long excluding the claws. I uses a small treble hook and put on some fish guts to find where the big ones were at, when I see a big craw fish, I just drop the line in front of it and wait till I see them go over the hook to eat the guts I set the hook. Thus I don't have to open/close the trap and remove the small craw fish.
